On December 23, the Telluride Professional Ski Patrollers Association announced a planned work stoppage beginning December 27, 2025, as part of ongoing contract negotiations. As a result, Telluride Ski Resort has announced it will close temporarily while they work toward a plan that allows for a safe reopening as soon as possible.
We want to reassure you that Telluride and Mountain Village remain fully open and especially magical during the Christmas season. Festive lights, snow-covered streets, cozy dining, shopping, and a vibrant arts and culture scene continue to create a memorable holiday atmosphere throughout town.
We understand that this may impact how your vacation looks, and we truly appreciate your flexibility. At this time, our standard cancellation policies remain in effect.
Our guest experience team is prioritizing guests arriving in the coming days and is available to help you determine the best option for your stay. We are also happy to curate a personalized itinerary highlighting non-ski winter and holiday experiences.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected] or 970-239-8600. We are here to help and look forward to welcoming you to Telluride.
