Located on five luscious acres of swaying palm trees and fragrant tropical blossoms, the grounds of Casa Querencia are simply spectacular—and comprise the largest estate in Kupuri. Winding pathways lead to quiet spaces with lounge chairs and spectacular ocean views. There are also two sparkling infinity pools surrounded by sun loungers, a hot tub, and a sandy hammock terrace for catching an afternoon siesta.
In the grand main living area, lots of plush, comfortable seating and a massive dining table create a perfect space for lounging, dining, and conversation. The entire room opens wide to create a luxe indoor/outdoor living experience. You'll be pulled outside, again and again, to gaze at the sweeping ocean views, listen to the soothing sound of the waves, and feel the gentle sea breeze on your skin.
A recent edition to Casa Querencia includes a beautifully landscaped garden with an outdoor dining terrace, living room, and a full bar. This spot includes a flatscreen television, bocce ball court, and ping pong on a sand court that can be lit at night. You'll find that this is the place where everyone hangs out together for happy hour margaritas, a family game night, or a relaxed dinner under the stars. Back inside, an impressive theater room with surround sound is the perfect place to host an epic movie night.
Another part of the magic of Casa Querencia is the fantastic, accommodating staff that will cater to your every need. Most of the staff is available from 8 AM to 8 PM during each day of your stay, but you'll enjoy the services of the butler and the houseman around the clock from the moment you arrive. A private chef will prepare all three meals each day as well as snacks, and you're free to request something special or perhaps a classic favorite for the children.
Other staff members include a car and a driver to take you to and from the airport and anywhere else that you'd like to go during your stay, a housekeeper to keep everything sparkling clean and tidy and the laundry is done, and a concierge to assist you in planning your daily activities. The concierge is happy to arrange for a soothing massage or yoga session at Casa Querencia. If you're feeling adventurous, request a day of horseback riding, a zipline adventure, or a jungle tour. A qualified nanny is available to guests traveling with young children.
There are seven tranquil bedroom suites and 9.5 bathrooms at Casa Querencia. Most of the bedroom suites boast a spacious outdoor terrace, an indoor seating area, air-conditioning, a full ensuite bathroom, a flatscreen television, and an iPod dock— allowing for everyone to spread out and find some private time. The magnificent master suite features a king-size bed, an office space, and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with an indoor and an outdoor shower.
The other bedroom suites include three additional king suites, two suites with queen-size beds, and a flexible bunk room that's just right for kids and teens. There's also a flex room located in the loft with four twin-size sleeper chairs. Each bedroom suite includes complimentary robes and L'Occitaine personal care products.
When you can't resist the call of the Pacific Ocean any longer, simply sink your toes into the warm sand and stroll down to the waves. Take a dip in the clear blue water, build a sandcastle in the sugary white sand, ride the tide on a boogie board, test your balance on a paddleboard, or stretch out on the sand and soak up the sunshine. There's also snorkeling equipment for seeing what's going on under the waves.
Guests of Casa Querencia receive complimentary access to three area beach clubs: the Kupuri Beach Club, the Residents Beach Club, and the St. Regis Beach Club. Here you'll find resort amenities like a tennis club, a fitness facility, a casual bar, a gourmet restaurant, multiple swimming pools, a full-service spa, a game room, a boutique, and ocean activities such as sailing and paddleboarding.
