Simply one of the very best trailside ski cabins in all of Mountain Village, Traditional Treasure is an exquisite four-bedroom Rocky Mountain home with over 3,400 square feet of luxurious living space. You'll enjoy lovely views of the San Sophia Ridge, as well as the ability to ski home from nearly any trail on the mountain, thanks to the Prospect Ski Trail that runs directly beside Traditional Treasure. With two deluxe primary suites, multiple living areas, and a hot tub, this exclusive oasis has plenty of space for your whole crew.
Four charming gables and lots of rustic stone accents give the facade of Traditional Treasure a classic, chalet-like feel. Once inside, the grand great room includes a wide-open design with a lovely flow through the living and dining areas. In the living space, overstuffed chairs and sofas surround the traditional stone fireplace. Vaulted ceilings and large windows ensure a spacious feel and allow the mountain views to take center stage.
The formal dining area has room for eight people and sits next to the open kitchen. This renovated space includes natural wood tone shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, and a tiled backsplash. There's also a paneled refrigerator, gas range, and dishwasher. The tiered island bar area has stool seating for three and will be the spot where everyone naturally lingers over fresh coffee, pancakes and maple syrup, or aprés-ski cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
In the first of two primary suites, a king-size bed and comfy armchair sit underneath a cathedral ceiling. An ensuite bathroom includes a jetted tub and a separate shower. The second primary suite also includes a grand king-size bed and an ensuite private bathroom. The third bedroom is a guest room with two twin-size beds, while the fourth and final bedroom is a bunk room with two twin-over-twin-size built-in bunks. An additional living space includes a shuffleboard court, tons of seating, a large HDTV, and a wet bar.
Off the main living area, two glass-paned doors lead outside to the spacious flagstone patio area. This area is equipped with snow-melt technology for convenient year-round use and includes a private hot tub for soaking after a long day of hiking or skiing on the nearby trails and a gas barbecue for grilling some juicy steaks for dinner.
The magic of Traditional Treasure lies in the picture-perfect location, which allows your whole group to enjoy the serene peace and quiet of the surrounding forest, while still being able to slip on their skis and glide right out the door. The Sundance ski run is literally right next door. And with all this mountain serenity and ski-in/ski-out access, you'll still be just a short drive or shuttle ride away from the village core for dining out, shopping, or riding the gondola into Telluride. Traditional Treasure is the best of both worlds, in one spectacular Mountain Village escape.
