When you arrive at the stone and log cabin facade, it's like opening the door to a fairytale. Several rounded turrets and a soaring roofline create a gorgeous storybook castle. A full suite of stainless steel appliances includes a SubZero refrigerator, a wine fridge, 2 smaller secondary refrigerators, a gas range, 2 dishwashers, a double oven, a warming oven, and a microwave. The kitchen also includes a massive island for prep work, a copper-topped bar area with casual seating, and a huge walk-in pantry with tons of storage space.
A secondary lounge area/den space has a comfy sectional sofa, a large HDTV, and a cozy fireplace. Meanwhile, outside on the covered terrace, there's a roaring fire, a built-in gas grill, and an alfresco dining area with sweeping mountain vistas.
In the first bedroom suite, a four-poster king-size bed faces a charming fireplace. This magnificent bedroom also includes a sitting area, a sun-kissed patio, a second-floor office with an HDTV, a walk-in closet, and a washer and dryer. In the attached, spa-like bathroom, you can take your pick- soak the day away in the huge jetted tub or in the spacious, glass-enclosed steam shower with multiple nozzles and settings. The next bedroom suite also features a sumptuous king-size bed, HDTV, sitting area, fireplace, and an ensuite bath with a steam shower and a jetted tub. The third bedroom suite includes a luxurious king-size bed, fireplace, sitting area HDTV, his & her closets, and en suite full bathroom with dual sinks a tub/shower combo.
The fourth bedroom has a flexible mix of two queen-size beds, dual closets and a full bathroom with dual sinks and a tub/shower combo. The bunk room has cozy, built-in twin-size bunks- each with its own reading lamp- walk-in closets, and a full bathroom with dual sinks and a tub/shower combo. There's also another full bath with a steam shower just down the hall, so it feels like the bunk room has two private bathrooms.
Nearby, there's a fun and friendly lodge-like game room, complete with a full-size pool table and a fireplace. This billiard room also offers plenty of ski and boot storage with 2 boot dryers, with a 16 total boot capacity, and provides a convenient spot for gearing up for or taking a break from the slopes. Outside is a private, bubbling hot tub for soaking sore muscles and taking in the views.
For a fun night in, cue up the Dolby Surround theater room with your favorite movie and enjoy a flick from the comfort of the overstuffed leather theater chairs. Or gather a group around the fireplace at the poker/game table while you watch the big game. There's even a wine cave with a wine fridge, refrigerator, dishwasher, ice maker, microwave, and warming oven. You can easily transport snacks back and forth from the main kitchen using the dumb waiter. The crackling fireplace and dramatic slope views provide the Picture Perfect après-ski spot!
Above the garage is a totally separate guest quarters that are perfect for in-laws, grandparents, teenagers, or anyone looking for a smidge more privacy. The guest suite includes a full kitchen, a living area with a fireplace, a balcony, a washer and dryer, a coat closet, and a bedroom with a split-king or two twin-size beds, and a large closet. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
It's worth noting that this home is perfectly designed for large groups. For example, each of the full bathrooms in the main house has a separate, private water closet- ideal for those sharing a bathroom. There are also multiple laundry facilities located throughout the estate, including the master bedroom and the guest house. In the main home, the laundry room includes a washer and two dryers, a work sink, and plenty of space for folding clothes. Home also features a Savant home automation system for music, lighting and heat.
