Meet & Greet with Pete Wagner and Factory Tour
Pete Wagner was creating software to design and fit golf equipment in 2000 when he decided to take this knowledge and apply it to his true passion: skiing. After realizing that he was “crippling” himself on skis that were too stiff and demanding, he began to design his own. Production started down valley from Telluride at a small shop in Placerville and eventually moved into the center of the ski resort in 2016 where the shop is currently located in Mountain Village. Enjoy this personal introduction to Pete and his unique take on the ski industry.

The Opus Hut is a year round, full-service, European style mountain hut in the majestic San Juan Mountains. Rustic and warm, Opus serves as base camp for the back country ski experience. Perched at tree line on sunny, south facing slopes, visitors can ski all levels of terrain while taking in the awe-inspiring 13,000 foot peaks that surround the home. Solar powered and wood stove heated, the hut has a large dining area with seating for 16, cozy reading nooks, a full service kitchen and lounge area by the fire.
