Although located in the center of Mountain Village, Kayenta Lodge is tucked into a grove of mature trees- adding a bit of cabin-like privacy. The living area features soaring vaulted ceilings, hearty wood beams and trim, and a cozy sleeping loft accessed by a ladder. A warm leather sofa and armchair surround the flatscreen television mounted next to the hearth. Large single-pane glass doors with light-filled transoms allow the dappled Colorado sunshine in. The entire space is comfy and welcoming- and ideal for relaxing with a cocktail after a long day on the slopes.
A pass-through bar has stool seating for three, while a dining table has seating for six more. The kitchen is pristine and efficiently designed- with natural wood beadboard cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and gleaming quartz worktops. Groups will love that the kitchen is open to the living area, allowing for maximum socializing and conversation. Your whole crew will gather here in the mornings for hot coffee and warm muffins, while you plan your day on the slopes and trails.
The primary suite is peaceful and private, with a sumptuous king-size bed and flatscreen television. The ensuite bathroom has a step-in steam shower. The second bedroom, a guest suite, has a split-king-size bed, which can be set up as two twin beds or as 1 king bed. The second full bathroom has a double vanity. The loft queen bed and queen pull-out sofa each sleep an additional two persons to provide plenty of space for your whole group.
Outside on the patio, a swirling hot tub is a soothing oasis at the end of a day spent on the ski slopes. Pour a glass of wine and sink down into the warm water, with a view of the bustling village and the San Juan Mountain peaks in the distance. The patio also has a barbecue for grilling juicy burgers for dinner or roasting s'mores for dessert.
