This year’s event has been scheduled to officially begin on Wednesday, May 31, and it will continue on through Sunday, June 4. A Barcelona favorite since 2001, this festival has grown every year into one of the most massive urban parties on the planet. In 2011, more than 170,000 people attended, and the festival featured more than 200 acts on eight main stages and another eight stages that were set up across the city. This year’s festival is expected to be even bigger and better than ever.
