While there are many restaurants in Punta Mita that offer formal, upscale dining, this little bistro is the place to go for a much more casual beach experience that allows you to kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes in the warm, clean sand. There’s also plenty of room for your children to play in the sand or run along the water’s edge while you sit back and enjoy your drinks. A Little History
Punta Mita’s locals will be happy to tell you tales of how their ancestors set sail to fish the ocean waters from the very spot where the bistro now sits. Due to treacherous waves, powerful winds and sudden water spouts, some of those brave fishermen never made it back home to their waiting wives and children. As a special tribute to those who lost their lives to the sea, you’ll be able to see a lovely wooden cross that sits on top of a small rock island just offshore and completely visible from your seat at the bistro.
