The 2018 Imogene Pass Run is set for Saturday, Sept. 8, and it begins in Ouray and ends 17.1 miles later in beautiful Telluride, Colorado. Beginning in 1974, this race was originally meant to be a training tool for those who planned to run in the Pike's Peak Marathon, but it's now an important race in its own right. Participants will make their way over the more than 13,000-foot Imogene Pass along jagged peaks and dirt roads, and this difficult race is open only to well-trained experienced runners. Registration will open on June 1, and more information will be posted as it becomes available.
