The 7th annual RIDE Festival has been officially scheduled for the weekend of July 14-15 at several popular indoor and outdoor venues throughout beautiful Telluride, Colorado, and nearby Mountain Village. Since 2012, this festival has been bringing the sounds of rock and roll music to this historic mountain town, and the talent is always top notch with past performers that include Pearl Jam, Kaleo, Beck and Los Lobos. The RIDE Festival is a family friendly event with special activities available for children, and everyone is invited to come on out and enjoy the music and fun.
To get everyone in the rock and roll spirit, a special concert that features Barns Courtney will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the Sunset Plaza in Mountain Village. It's a short, free and beautiful gondola ride from Telluride to Mountain Village, and everyone is welcome. Other Friday musical events include performances by Tyler Childers at 9 p.m. at the Sheridan Opera House, Matthew Curry at 10 p.m. at the Moon at O'Bannons, Joint Point at 9 p.m. at Roma and Futurebirds at 10 p.m. at the Liberty.
