The 2018 Many Hands Fiber Arts Festival has been scheduled for three big days that run from Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29 at the Telluride High School. Held only once every other year, this event brings together the country's best fiber artists in the areas of needlepoint, knitting, quilting, weaving, crochet, cross-stitch, mixed media, clothing, fabric sculptures, doll making, fabric dyeing and so much more. Activities include free demonstrations of several different forms of handwork, and classes are offered by top fiber artists. This is a family friendly event with plenty of opportunities for shopping and looking over exceptional private collections, and there's also a petting zoo that is filled with fiber-bearing animals that include llamas, yaks, merino sheep, angora rabbits and cashmere goats.
