Each year, the staff of Exceptional Stays has the privilege of staying in one of our Punta Mita luxury villas. Right now, as I write this, I am sitting in the great room of the exquisite Villa Pacifica. This 5 bedroom villa sleeps 12 guests, and has just undergone a major transformation. To sum up this metamorphosis, I would say that Villa Pacifica is now a sexy, chic, Mexican Pacific beachfront compound. Every day I feel as if you are on the set of a Vogue fashion shoot (unfortunately I can’t say that I feel like a Vogue model but the unbearably beautiful vistas surrounding me do the job). The palate of the home has been scaled down to 3 colors, but maintains a bold, vibrant character – a deep tomato red, navy blue and chic, crisp white. While my description of the home may not be doing it justice, I am including some photos here that show just how stunning this villa is. Villa Pacifica has a brand new cobalt blue pool with travertine steps leading down into the water. There are also 4 travertine built sunbeds with navy blue covers and cushions overlooking the pool and the Bay of Banderas.

Yesterday & today we rose early for about 3 hours of surfing before breakfast. Ivan & Fox from the surf shop in Punta Mita come & pick us up in their boat (with surfboards) and take us about half a mile down the beach to the surf spot.
Villa Pacifica is definitely the sexiest rental on the Ranchos Estates in Punta Mita, Mexico.
Yesterday’s lunch was a delicious seafood paella, made with love by our hostess (and company owner) Christina! Christina added some Spanish flair to our Mexico menu.

As you can see the bold tomato red of Villa Pacifica contrasts beautifully with the cobalt blue, salt water swimming pool (and the ocean!). There are several bouganvillea pots on the deck with gorgeous shades of pink.

Today we are off to lunch at the Residents Beach Club which is located within the gates of the Four Seasons & St Regis resorts. After lunch, we will head to Sayulita, a quaint beach town about 20 minutes from the Ranchos Estates. I will be sure to post some surf shots later this week. I am off to enjoy this beautiful Sunday in Punta Mita. Tomorrow we are taking some photos of the “new” Villa Pacifica.
